location: WEST vancouver, bc

Objectives:

The clients engaged us to design the interiors for their soon to be built home. The clients’ objective was to create a warm, calming colour and materials palate that flowed from the inside to the outside. The interior and materials detailing also needed to be sensitive to the modern west coast design of the house.

Results:

A warm coloured natural ledge stone was chosen for the interior and exterior feature walls. Wood stain colours were chosen to harmonize with the stone colour. The natural stone floors are a warm grey. Kitchen and powder room back-splash walls are highlighted with dark tile to contrast with the predominantly light and airy wall colours. Flush baseboards and non-cased doors and windows with reveals are used to accentuate the modern feel of the house design. Custom fir doors and windows complete the west coast modern palate.
