location: West Vancouver, BC 

Objectives:

The owners wished to add to the upper floor of their home to take advantage of the sea views, increase the number of bedrooms & bathrooms and improve the street presence of the home.

Results:

The upper floor was expanded over the existing garage to create the new Master Suite.  An expansion to the east side houses the new bedrooms, bathrooms & gym.  Craftsman detaining, complete with bracket supported roof overhangs & beams and stone pillar bases, complements the design such that the addition is indistinguishable from the architecture of the original home. The entire main floor of the home was also renovated in a modern, transitional style interior in keeping with the style of the  new upper floor interiors.
