location: Whistler, BC
Objectives:
To design an addition to a small log cabin, including bedrooms and a beautiful and cozy family and entertaining space.
Results:
The log cabin is converted into the master suite, and a timber frame structure has been added to create the feeling of a modern ski lodge with lots of glass, open planning, and naturalistic detailing in uncut stone and recycled timber.
